New Avondale tavern Central Park Bar is inviting folks in for a cozy and laid-back New Year's Eve that features an all-inclusive drink package from 8 p.m. to 1 a.m. as well as a food buffet, DJ sets, and Champagne toast at midnight. Tickets, available via Eventbrite, are $90 per person.

The J. Parker
Dance into 2023 with the J. Parker’s NYE Whiskey a Go Go party. The year-round rooftop venue atop Hotel Lincoln is offering an all-inclusive package that includes cocktails, wine, and beer, as well as a raw bar and food like smash burger sliders and tuna crudo. Ina Mae Tavern & Packaged Goods
Eat and drink like those in the Big Easy with a four-hour call drink package, passed appetizers like gumbo and po’boys, live DJ, midnight toast, and Madame Tawdry’s New Year’s Eve Burlesque Show from 8 p.m. to midnight at Ina Mae. Tickets ($79) are available via EventBrite.
Offshore Rooftop & Bar
The nation’s largest rooftop deck (certified by Guinness), located on the third floor of Navy Pier, is saying goodbye to 2023 with a 4-hour bar, passed appetizers, and a prime view of the fireworks show over Lake Michigan. The Dawson
The Dawson in River West will turn the page to 2024 with an opulent four-course prix fixe menu that includes options like dry-aged New York strip beef tartare, lobster bucatini, Rohan duck breast, and passionfruit orange “creamsicle” cake for dessert. Bookings ($150) are available online.
Topolobampo
Rick Bayless’s acclaimed Mexican restaurant is crafting a special menu to ring in 2024. Menu specifics remain under wraps, but the team promises “festive treats and luxurious celebrations of our favorite dishes.” They’ll also offer rare wine pairings, special Champagne selections, and margaritas. Live mariachis and balloons will bolster the party atmosphere. Tickets ($200) are available via Tock.
Bar Goa
Bar Goa will blast into the New Year with a “dress to impress” Bollywood bash with passed hors d’oeuvres, three drink tickets, a Champagne toast at midnight, and mezzanine table booths. Tickets start at $105 and are available via Resy.

Pizzeria Portofino
Riverside revelers have plenty of options at Pizzeria Portofino’s New Year’s Eve celebrations. The restaurant is offering reservations for general admission (read: limited seating), riverfront patio tables, and VIP booths, and all patrons are invited to try passed appetizers, a pizza station, and a toast at midnight. Celebrate New Year’s Eve with a tapas feast at Spanish restaurant Boqueria in West Loop with dishes such as braised short rib stuffed piquillo peppers and gambas al ajillo (shrimp, garlic, brandy, lobster reduction). Smyth + The Loyalist
Indulge in a nostalgic menu of 2023’s “greatest hits” at the Loyalist for $175 per person, or check out newly three-Michelin-starred sibling Smyth ($475) for an evening of caviar, truffles, and Champagne in addition to highlights from its winter food menu. Bridgeport gastropub the Duck Inn will pull out all the stops for a New Year’s Eve tasting menu that features delights like spruce-poached halibut with lingonberry espuma, grilled Wagyu with truffle dauphinoise potatoes, and Baked Alaska with foie gras peanut butter ice cream and vanilla fluff.
