Chicago has five new Bib Gourmand restaurants.
| Garrett Sweet/Eater Chicago

Michelin's Bib Gourmand list is revered by travelers as a sign of a quality meal at an affordable price. These are restaurants where Chicago diners can order two courses and a glass of wine or dessert for about $50 without tax and gratuity.

The 2023 list adds five new restaurants while removing nine. Six of its previous members — Dos Urban Cantina, Flat & Point, Funkenhausen, GT Fish & Oyster, Joe’s Imports, and Pizzeria Bebu — fell off the list due to permanent closure. Other removals include DeColores, Herb, and Marisol inside the Museum of Contemporary Art.

Scroll through the map below for Michelin’s take on Chicago’s dining scene. Those in search of fancy fare can check out the city’s latest Michelin-starred restaurants.
